Is Nikon Z6 III a low light machine? BIRD PHOTOGRAPHY in tough conditions
Finally I got to test the new nikon z6 III in the field. I found a large woodpecker chick. So it was a nice bird and situation to test out this great camera. In the dark forest I could also test out the ISO performance of this camera. And I was impressed. Even on ISO 10000 it was much cleaner then I expected. And all the images I show in the video is without any form of noise reduction.
My conclusion is that I really like this camera for bird photography.

Nikon Z6 III - Hands on // Did they do it right ?
Переглядів 7 тис.14 днів тому
Nikon Z6 III is here. And I must admit. I have big expectation for this camera. Are we getting a ISO machine? With the same autofocus quality as the Z8 and Z9. I am excited for the flip screen as a vlogger. I cannot wait for using this out in the field and take it to the extreme. This channel is sponsored by Stavanger foto and Nikon. www.stavangerfoto.no
Owl photography in the forest - Close encounter

It has been over 6 years since I photograph the tawny owl. I went looking for it in 2019, but with no success. The tawny owl is highly nocturnal and not easy to find. I was lucky to come along with a friend that had photograph this bird in an area before. And what happend next was mind blowing. I got the tawny owl in a perfect branch and with his black eyes wide open. What a moment with bird ph...

I have had the Nikon Z 600mm f/4 TC for about 6 month now. So here is my little in the field experience. Is it worth 15 000 dollars? What makes this difference from the older 600mm lenses. What about teleconverter? Every wildlife and bird photography is looking for that perfect lense. Is this it ? This channel is sponsored by Stavanger foto and Nikon. www.stavangerfoto.no

I always admire your tenacity and the quality of your work, Trond. If you will put some mosquito repellent on your hands and then put on a pair of mesh gloves with the rubber dots to keep them from slipping you can keep the bugs off and not get any of the plastic melting repellent on your equipment. The mesh head net you had on works pretty well but you need to put bug repellent on your cap and the back of your head. Or... you could have a medic standing by to give you a blood transfusion when you get out of the woods. I have been there and done that so I know what it's like. Nevertheless, your spotted woodpecker shots were spectacular and the processing couldn't be any better. Youdaman, Trond.

Props for doing such nice work under those damn bugs! Used to live in Minnesota and "fondly" remember those bugs - not! The heat in Phoenix is really not any better. Gotta ask, what does the Z6iii bring to the table the Z9 does not; for you? Owning the Z8 and Z9, not sure if the Z6iii would fit into my kit or not.

Noise argument is invalid though.. The more MP, the more details, not more noise but you see it more clearly because you zoom in more,, and the more MP, the more easy to remove noise without losing details. It's math. I use a 61MP sensor and it has less noise than the 12 MP A7SIII. 24MP today is not optimal for birds/wildlife when you can have 45/50/61 and crop instead of using a 1.4 TC( or both crop and use TC)

It's a long over due needed up grade looks really good and performance seems to tick all the boxes , but outside of USA the price is way too high when you have to pay in currency other than USD. Z6III is too expensive everywhere right now , like check retail and nikons home page prices for Canada ,Europe UK, Australia and New Zealand they are crazy prices. Most people won't be buying as it is a massive difference in price compared to what Americans are paying with their local currency. It's like Nikon is saying to me , too bad so sad bad luck if you live outside of USA because you will have to over pay, if you want this Z6III camera.
